LAME
Monday, February 26th, 2007So once I get comfortable at my new gig, large monkey wrenches come flying at warp 3 right at my head. Veronika needs carpal tunnel surgery (but it’s special carpal tunnel? What what? It’s making the /wrong/ fingers go numb? I’ve never heard of this.
Well she needs insurance for that. My current employer doesn’t offer insurance of any kind of value, and I was offered my old job back with good insurance. Guess it’s a no brainer. Around a 2-6 thousand per year drop in finances, but now medical doesn’t cost us anything, so that balances out, especially since V’s medicines cost an annual 500+ so that will be cut to less than a hundred. Still doesn’t completely fill the gap but that’s enough of a difference to justify that.
God damn that’s irritating.
UPDATE!
V’s corrected me that it’s that much because she’s underdosing herself. LAME. so it’s around 150 a month for one medication plus others so it’s more than that. CALCULATOR TIME!!!one
So it’s actually a little shy of 2000 dollars a year. So shitbags. Let’s all excercise and take vitamins!
