I figured out why apple doesn’t have a netbook:

Mac OS is lame on netbooks! There you have it. Get Debian or Ubuntu instead.

I just wanted to point out for the Linux fans out there, that Ubuntu 8.10 installed on this gadget here with everything working out of the box. Wireless, sound, gesture trackpad, etc.

EDIT: It’s faster, too.

OK,this is a very interesting way to partition an 80GB hard disk.

30 GB FAT32 = C:

30 GB NTFS = D:LENOVO

10ish GB NTFS = HIDDEN

A fat32 C: drive? Really? And they give me a hard time for wanting to reinstall. Sheesh!

Damn this thing is great. The keyboard is goign to take a bit of getting used to due to the weird positioning of the shift button, but other than that, This is great. I love little laptops, and this is pretty much as little as they can get and still be usable. Very cool.

Unfortunately I left my hard disk at work, so I can’t install MacOS on it yet. Durr.

Man they were going to deliver it on the 24th, now it’s not getting here until the 29th. OMFG SNOW
